Hot Tub and Spa Pumps
A Water Jet Pump, is refered to as a Hot Tub Pump that operates the main Jets in the Spa for massage.
With a two speed or dual speed pump the low speed will operate the filter and heat the water, the high speed will act as the boost operation. We call this pump the filtration pump.
A two speed or dual speed boost Spa Pump is not used to filter or heat the Spa water and will usually have a higher rating on the low speed operation.
A circulation pump is designed to run for 24 hrs a day if needed and is also designed to run at minimal output to offer a more economical solution to running and heating your Hot Tub.
A circulation pump will in most cases be connected to the filter and Ozone line and will normally enter the Hot Tub from 1 to 6 low output Jets.
Hot Tub Water Pumps are mainly found in two frame sizes, 48 frame and 56 frame. This is mainly due to space restrictions although it is thought that 56 frame Spa Pumps offer better durability as they stay slightly cooler when running.
